Off Campus Library Services

Library services for UHD students, faculty, and staff who have a class which meets regularly at a location other than the downtown campus.

University of Houston-Downtown & Lonestar College System

Many library services are available to UHD distance students from Lone Star College System libraries. To access some services at LSCS libraries, you will need a library card from the Harris County Public Library, the Montgomery County Memorial Library System, or you can obtain a TexShare card from the UHD Library.

The TexShare Card Program allows UHD students, faculty, and staff to borrow books and other materials from participating Texas libraries.

Current students, faculty and staff in good standing can get a TexShare card free of charge from the W.I. Dykes Library.  If you are unable to come to the library to pick it up, we will send one to you.
