Using Online Tutorials

Note: Please do not use Chrome when using these tutorials. They are best viewed on browsers such as Microsoft Edge, Safari, or Opera.

Students will be prompted to enter their UHD ID number.

Using Tutorials In Canvas

Canvas Commons

Easily import our online tutorials into your Canvas course via the Canvas Commons. These tutorials will appear in your Gradebook; however, students will receive a grade summary at the end of the tutorial that can be submitted via a screenshot or a printed copy. 

To import a tutorial into your course:

  1. Go to the Canvas Commons.
  2. Search for "UHD Library" in the search box. 
  3. Select the tutorial you would like to add to your course.
  4. Select "Download/Import" on the right hand column.
  5. Select the course where you would like to import the tutorial.
  6. Within your course, move the tutorial page to the location you prefer within your course.
  7. Publish only the tutorial page.
  8. You can delete the Do Not Publish-Faculty Instructions page when you no longer need the instructions.

Canvas Gradebook

Our Online Tutorials are now available with integration into your Canvas Gradebook.

To setup this integration, you will need a SoftChalk account. For information about setting up a SoftChalk account and adding this integration, please contact the TTLC.
