Online Teaching

A guide for finding library resources on online teaching, tools, and technologies.

TroubleShooting eBooks

If you have problems accessing an ebook, here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot.

  1. Make sure you are authenticated to gain access to the library's network if you're off campus
    • Please see the Off-Campus Access tab to learn more about connecting to the library's collection online.
    • On campus and using a laptop? Make sure you're on the Protected Wifi and not the Guest Wifi.
  2. Is the book already in use by the allowable number of simultaneous users? Some of our ebook titles can only be accessed by one user at a time.
  3. Try an additional web browser. For example, if you're using Firefox, try Chrome.
    • If you're using Safari on a Mac, definitely try another web browser.
  4. Make sure you are using the latest version of the web browser.
