Interlibrary Loan

When your requested item is available, you will be notified by email and/or text. Please configure your email account to allow receipt of emails from: libraryloan@uhd.edu.

Picking Up ILL Items

• Books, DVDs, and other physical materials will be available for pick up at the UHD Library Circulation Desk on the 5th floor of the One Main Building. You will need your UHD ID to check out items.

Viewing Articles

• Most articles and book chapters will be delivered electronically through email. Some electronic files will be available for 30 days only. To keep the article, save it to your computer or a USB drive.
• Some articles are received as paper copies and must be picked up at the Library Circulation Desk.

Please return ILL items to the Library Circulation Desk on the 5th floor of the One Main Building. Please do not return ILL materials in a book drop.

It is very important to return ILL materials on time so that the library's ability to borrow from other libraries is not jeopardized. Overdue library materials may result in loss of borrowing privileges or fines from the lending library.
