Research 101 Activities

Activity 2

When trying to decide if you have a strong research question, always ask yourself these questions to evaluate:

  • Specificity – Is it focused and clear?

  • Researchable – Can you find credible sources to help answer it?

  • College-level complexity – Does it go beyond a yes/no or opinion-based answer?

  • Relevance – Could this lead to a meaningful argument or analysis?
