Journal of Criminal Justice & Law

Journal of Criminal Justice and Law

Welcome to the Journal of Criminal Justice and Law

The mission of the journal is to publish high quality manuscripts on legal issues in criminal justice and criminology. Empirical studies, qualitative studies, and doctrinal legal studies are all acceptable for publication.

The lack of outlets in criminal justice dealing with legal issues is one of the reasons that Craig Hemmens founded this journal and the main reason why we agreed to take over the journal in its infancy. The timeframe for publication of the first issue of JCJL is Fall 2016.

We hope that you would consider submitting your manuscripts with JCJL. With the support from scholars, both with submissions and reviews, the journal should be able to grow into a high quality publication.

Thank you for your interest in JCJL, we look forward to hearing from you.
