This guide was prepared to provide our UHD instructors with a reference space for basic understanding of generative AI and considerations with teaching and learning in higher education. Due to ongoing developments in this field, this resource will be continually updated. This guide includes an explanation of key terms and related concepts, using AI tools as an educator assistant, uses in the classroom, and understanding prompt writing for AI tools.
