UHD is part of Texas Library Coalition for United Action, a group of Texas colleges and universities that that have been in negotiations with the publisher Elsevier to secure more open and equitable contract terms for each school. Since the coalition was unable to reach a deal with Elsevier before December 31, 2020, UHD does not have a contract for the 2021 calendar year. What this means on a practical level is that the Library will definitely continue to offer access to the journal backfiles, but you might not have access to any content published after December 31, 2020. If you need a recent article from one of these journals and the full text does not seem to be available, please contact Interlibrary Loan.
