Research at the university level can be intimidating. If you have questions about how to find information, our librarians are always ready to help, but sometimes it is good to have a written explanation that lets you see the big picture and learn at your own pace. These guides introduce concepts that may help you understand research assignments and learn to find good sources.

UHD Academic Support Center offers students, in particular those enrolled in core courses, support toward improving their writing, reading, mathematics, and statistics skills.

Students benefit from one-on-one consultations with UHD faculty members or with Peer Tutors. A variety of learning aids, such as textbooks, study guides, videos, and pamphlets are available for students to take home or view on site.
